Are you interested in helping shape the future of Menasha? 

With the positive momentum in the community right now is the perfect time to get involved.  The Mayor's office is currently accepting applications from residents to serve on committees, boards, and commissions.



Currently there are vacancies in the following areas:
 
Landmarks Commission
The commission guides the use and protection of historic structures within the community, administers the City’s façade grant program, and leads the community’s recognition of Historic Preservation Month.  The commission meets on the second Wednesday of the month at 5:00 PM
Board of Appeals
The board of zoning appeals hears and decides special exceptions to the City’s zoning code when there are special conditions that cause hardship for the property owner.  The board meets as necessary upon the call of the chairperson.
Housing Authority
The authority administers the City’s revolving housing rehabilitation loan program which helps maintain and improve the housing conditions in the community.  The authority also plays a role in setting the guidelines for the program as well as the design of new programs.  The authority meets as necessary upon the call of the chairperson.
Sustainability Board
The board manages and participates in activities that help improve the sustainably of the community by promoting energy conservation, waste reduction, and multi-modal transportation facilities.  The board serves in an advisory role to the Mayor and Common Council regarding the implementation of sustainable practices related to City facilities and functions.  The board Meets on the Third Tuesday of the month at 1:00PM
