Menasha's renown Bluejay Brigade marching band is off to Jacksonville today to perform at the Gator Bowl on New Year's Day.  The BlueJay's are known throughout the Fox Valley for their peppy, jazzy dance style mixed with a traditional marching moves.  Not only are they fun to watch but it sure looks like the band members are having a great time doing them.  The Bluejays most recently won the people's choice award from ADI following their performance at the downtown Appleton Christmas Parade.

The 94 Bluejays will perform in the Gator Bowl Parade and Halftime Show along with other bands from around the country. Competition will be intense as they compete for a performance spot at the pregame show.  The Bluejays compete against ten high school bands from across the country in the National Marching Band Competition.

The Gator Bowl will be televised nationally on ESPN 2. Kick-off is at 12:30 on New Year's Day
Congradulations BlueJays!
