With alderman Pack’s announcement that he would not run for election to the Fourth District Aldermanic seat this spring came a three way race for the seat. Mark Langdon, of Warsaw St; James Taylor, of Milwaukee St; and Jackie Miller, of Appleton St; competed for the seat. Mr. Taylor came out on top in the primary, however, Mr. Langon came out on top at the April 6th spring election 141-100.

Mark Langdon comes to the fourth district seat being involved as a youth sports coach for 15 years in both Menasha and Neenah and a member of the safety team and fire brigade at Kimberly Clark. Mr. Langdon hasn’t held elected office in the past but is eager to learn as he showed in his campaign. Promoting our community as a great place to live and work as well as finding creative ways to help the taxpayer are his promises to the community as he assumes office later this month.

Join me in welcoming Mark to the common council.
