Not only were there spirits and gouls, there were oreo's, trains, cowboys, and a multitude of others who descended on Downtown Menasha October 29th. The tradition of Hometown Halloween was revived this year after many years of absence along Main Street. Over thirty downtown businesses along with the Farm Fresh Market sponsored the event to the delight of over 500 costumed children. Candy along with a bit of exploring was the order of the night, parents had the opportunity to see new and longstanding businesses, games (courtesy of Shooting Starzz Community Theatre), apple cider (courtesy of Doty Island Development Council), and pumpkin carving (courtesy of the YMCA) on the square, with a free movie at the Fox Cinema to top it all off.
Hats off to everyone who made this great family event possible, downtown Menasha continues to be a great place to be.
